Heritage Painting and Preservation
Trust takes many years to build
Over the past three decades, Double A Painting has successfully revitalized and preserved numerous iconic historical buildings and homes in the Victoria region. Some of these treasures include Emily Carr House, Craigflower Manor, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the Board of Trade Building, the Rithet Building (1117 Wharf St.), Gonzales Observatory and many other prominent buildings in the downtown core. Our team combines expert knowledge with careful restoration methods, appropriate materials, and paints to restore and protect these treasures. We are acutely aware of the intricacies involved in working with sensitive heritage substrates and we adhere to heritage specific procedures when working with such materials. To ensure a long-lasting protective barrier, we use the most appropriate paints and coatings and we have all of the necessary equipment and expertise to complete the most challenging of heritage architectural structures. As lifetime members of the Hallmark Heritage Society, we recognize the significance of preserving Victoria’s heritage character and we always welcome new and challenging preservation projects.
